Medical NEET UG Counseling Process

NEET-UG counseling procedure is divided into two categories, i.e., AIQ Counseling and State-Level Counseling. Candidates who will qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEETUG ) conducted by National Board of Examinations will be eligible to apply for counseling.

  • MCC will be doing Counseling for 15% All India Quota seats and all seats of Deemed Universities/Central Universities/Seats of ESIC & AFMC including Delhi University (DU), BHU, AMU, AIIMS & JIPMER will be conducted by the MCC/DGHS for Undergraduate Medical Courses
  • 85% State Quota Seats And 100% Private College And Private University Will Be Organized Separately By Respected State Counseling Agency.

NEET Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

Those who have qualified NEET by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and 45th percentage for General-PWD) in order to become eligible for NEET counseling rounds.

NEET percentile based on marks

  • A student can calculate your NEET percentile easily with their own NEET score and the score of a NEET topper in that particular year.
  • NEET Percentile = Your NEET score * 100 / NEET score of the topper

NEET percentile based on rank

  • Students can also calculate their NEET percentile with their own NEET rank and the number of candidates appearing for NEET that particular year.
  • NEET Percentile = [(Total no. of candidates appearing NEET Rank) /Total no. of candidates appearing] x 100
